Kita-Portal Hofer Land

The Hofer Land daycare portal is the central platform of the city and district of Hof for parents looking for a childcare place for their children. With just a few clicks, families can find out about the day nurseries, kindergartens and after-school care centers in the Hofer Land region, register and track the status of their inquiry.

The portal not only simplifies the registration process, but also provides an overview of the educational focus and services offered by the various facilities. Digital networking between parents and daycare centers makes access to childcare in the Hofer Land region child's play.
Information on child daycare can be found on the homepage of the city of Hof and the district of Hof.

All entries marked with an * are mandatory. By entering a postal code, you can narrow down your results further or determine them more precisely.

How it works

Enter the date of birth of your child and the desired childcare start date. Always select the 1st of the month. You will then be taken to the results overview (map + list).

Click on the house symbol on the map or the name of the facility in the list to access the profile of the respective daycare center.

Once you have informed yourself, you can fill out the registration form for your chosen childcare facility via “Make a childcare inquiry”.

If you wish, you can save your data at the end of this form and use it as a template for your maximum of 5 space requests. Each request must be made one after the other.

Worth knowing

Requests for places are only possible after the birth of the child, at the earliest 18 months before the desired start of care.
A maximum of 5 place requests are possible at the same time. In the event of a rejection, it is possible to request a place at another daycare center.
If you have any further questions (e.g. about the legal entitlement), you can contact the responsible authorities (daycare center supervisors) at the city of Hof or the district of Hof.
