Introduction/specifics

The demands placed on children and parents are becoming increasingly complex and multifaceted. As life is an adventure with new challenges, unforeseen events and processes every day, it demands appropriate behaviour and creative solutions from all of us.
It is therefore important to us to prepare children for the adventure of life with all its challenges and demands through holistic, life-oriented education and upbringing.

The Abenteuerkita St. Johannes is a four-group daycare facility with one crèche group and three kindergarten groups.
The opening hours in the crèche and kindergarten are Monday to Thursday from 7.00 am to 4.30 pm and on Friday from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Outdoor Facilities

Extensive garden area for all children at the adventure daycare centre. The near-natural garden offers plenty of space to play, let off steam and discover with a mud pit, sand play area, nest swing and a variety of climbing options. There is also an integrated outdoor play area for the crèche children.

Food

• common meal times
• for breakfast, the children bring snacks from home
• once a week, a ‘healthy breakfast’ is prepared together in the form of a buffet
• there is the option of ordering a hot lunch from the ‘Diakonie am Campus’ every day

Basics

At the Abenteuerkita St. Johannes, we attach great importance to creating the best possible conditions for children to explore the world and their environment independently and autonomously. We treat all children with appreciation, recognition and respect, provide guidance and encourage self-determined behaviour. Every child is recognised as an independent, competent personality and is challenged and supported in their development accordingly. We are active companions, provide structure, are a constant point of contact, a safe place to retreat to and an honest and reliable partner. We endeavour to be a loving, caring and at the same time consistent caregiver for every child entrusted to us.

Our educational work is based on the  Bayerische Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan. All children have the right to the best possible education from the very beginning. The Bayerische Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan serves as a pedagogical guideline for us to optimally realise this educational mission.
