Introduction/specifics

Our state-approved daycare center “Jutta-Gottlieb-Haus” was opened on 03.09.1994 under the sponsorship of the Oberkotzau market. At that time, the kindergarten consisted of two groups.

The first crèche group was opened on 01.09.2012. We are a family-supplementary facility that has now consisted of four groups, two crèche groups and two kindergarten groups, since 01.01.2019.

A new two-group after-school care center was added in September 2023, which is directly adjacent to the Oberkotzau primary and secondary school. The after-school care center can be expanded by additional groups if required.

The building of our daycare center is located in a traffic-calmed residential area and is also equipped with a large garden.

Räumlichkeiten in der Kinderkrippe

Unsere Krippe umfasst zwei Gruppen (Käfer- und Froschgruppe), die jeweils folgende Räumlichkeiten umfassen:

• Gruppenraum mit Spielebene
• unmittelbar angebundener Schlafraum
• Wickel- und Waschraum
• Garderobenbereich

Outdoor Facilities

Unsere Einrichtung verfügt über ein großes Außengelände, welches sich in einen eigenständigen Außenspielbereich für den Kindergarten und einen für die Kinderkrippe unterteilt.

Der Krippengarten ist speziell für die Bedürfnisse der Kleinen ausgelegt und beinhaltet u.a. eine große Rutsche, einen Sandkasten und eine Nestschaukel.

Auch der Kindergarten-Garten hat viel zu bieten und lässt den Kindern mit Sandkästen, einem Rutschenturm, einem Klettergerüst und verschiedenen Schaukeln viel Spaß zum Toben und frei sein.

As a family-supplementing facility under municipal sponsorship, we take on the task of accompanying the child in its development and on its path through life.

Guided by an understanding, respectful and needs-oriented attitude, we cultivate a positive and unbiased view of humanity that accepts each individual as they are.

The team pays particular attention to exemplifying values and standards such as respect, openness and attentiveness and passing these on to the child.

The quiet location of the facility as well as the bright and friendly rooms with several levels inspire the child to play, grow and learn. A spacious garden and a climbing wall invite children to develop their motor skills and act out their natural urge to move.

True to Maria Montessori's motto “Help me to do it myself”, we enable children to learn independently and without judgment in a safe environment. We see ourselves as a safe educational environment where children can pursue their curiosity and thirst for knowledge and lay the foundations for their future life. We accompany transitions carefully and in an age-appropriate manner.

Based on the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan, we are guided by the concept of observation - planning - action - reflection - evaluation and offer the child a wide range of development opportunities.

Through an appreciative team structure and a successful educational partnership, we enable resource-oriented education, care and upbringing that focuses on the child: COMMUNICATION, INDIVIDUALITY, SECURITY AND SAFETY and BEING A CHILD!    

We consider our task fulfilled when the child and their family feel “welcome”, accepted and have arrived.
